Capt. Dennis holds a U. S. Coast Guard 100 ton Master Inland, OUPV Near Coastal License and is a member of American Professional Captains Association. He has over 30 years of experience on the Tennessee and Cumberland Rivers including the Tenn-Tom Waterway, Gulf of Mexico and south Florida Atlantic Ocean including the Florida Keys and Bahamas. In the early 70's, he crewed aboard the sportfish charterboats Marta R and Madame Queen out of Panama City for Capt. Graham "Yogi" McIntosh, who was one of the originators of the surgical tube lure used to catch barracuda. His main gig now is a professional pilot with over 11,000 hours logged in a variety of jet aircraft.

First Mate Marsha has been onboard for 15 years. With line handling, docking and hostess duties, she definitely has the hardest job aboard. In addition to this, Marsha is our interior decorator and florist, is in charge of blowing the conch horn as we get underway and is also an accomplished boathandler.

We pride ourselves on running a professional operation, but we also have a lot of fun and enjoy time spent on the water with our guests. Our ultimate goal while you're onboard Runnin' Bare is for you to have a safe, fun and memorable experience with us.

We look forward to welcoming you aboard!

In the deep caverns of the sea there dwelt a sea-king who had a mortal woman for his wife. He loved her dearly and devotedly, and she loved him in return.
